One of my smaller yet more unusual collections is that of wheelchair toys.  There aren’t many around (not surprising), and some are quite rare and others can be expensive.  If you have one and want to donate it or sell it to me, please contact me!  Some of the other ones I am still after are - Wheelchair Becky (friend of Barbie), Paralympic Barbie (full size Barbie in a racing wheelchair) and the WWE Manual Wheelchair.
Wheelchair Toys
This is Andy from ‘Little Britain’, a very funny show.  If you squeeze his hand he speaks his phrases.
This is a wheelchair toy from Playmobil.  He is in a wheelchair because he can’t bend his arms or legs.
This is Timmy from ‘South Park’.  he is funny, but not in a good way.  He says things like ‘TIIMMMMMMMMYYYY’.
This is Professor X from the X-men.  He is in a wheelchair because he suffers from a condition called ‘Chromus Domus’ (sometimes also known as ‘Skin Headia’).
This is the wheelchair from ‘Sylvanian Families’.  I think that is a young mole using it, with a broken leg, and cructhes.
This dude is called Homie G, he is in a souped up wheelchair that runs off nitro.  He is probably in a wheelchair as a result of a drive by.
This is a smaller Homie G (who is this guy???) wheelchair chair, and he has a bobble head.
Here is another Playmobil wheelchair toy, this time of a little girl in a chair being pushed by her mother.
Fisher Price wheelchair toy.  This came with the school bus originally.  Would be quite a difficult wheelchair to push, because the front wheels don’t turn!
Wheelchair Smurf!!!
“La la la-la la la,
Sing a happy song.
La la la-la la la,
Smurf your whole day long.”
I think this is the smallest wheelchair toy ever produced, it’s only 2cm high!  I got it from a guy in the USA who makes them, it’s like a lead toy soldier.
This one is called ‘Stunt Granny’, it’s a model of an electric wheelchair, that, presumably, can do stunts!
This is an interesting one I got from the USA, a cool dude with shades and tats in a wheelchair.
An older Fisher Price model of wheelchair, and once again, they have covered two minorities in one!
Small pink wheelchair (must be for girls).  No figure came with it, don’t really know who makes it.
This is an old wheelchair toy from Fisher Price.  Quite a basic figure.
WWF (now WWE) wheelchair.  This is the power one, I think they did a manual one as well for certain types of matches.
This is another Playmobil chair, but styled on an old fashioned wheelchair, with the big wheels at the front.
This is a small version of Wheelchair Becky, produced for the Paralympics.  This is about the only example of a racing wheelchair toy.
This one is kind of spooky.  Very, very detailed though, the most realistic wheelchair ‘toy’ I have seen.
This would be the smallest wheelchair toy ever, about 15mm high.  It is ‘Ironside’, being pushed, and it comes from a Corgi vehicle set (a van I think).
This one is from ‘A Nightmare Before Christmas’.  It’s a bit creepy as well, it looks like a Frankenstein duck.
Rocky from Rocky II, in a wheelchair after being beaten up in the ring.  Quite large.  This is a limited edition toy, so is staying in it’s box!
This is a biggish wheelchair, by Little Tikes, who do a whole range of dolls house style toys, in a bigger size for smaller kids.
This guy is called Jake Sully, and this toy is from a movie called ‘Avatar’, which I haven’t seen.  It’s a nice model though.
This is a toy from Burger King, produced in 1990.  The kid is holding up a packet of fries, probably indicating that if you eat too many, this is how you will end up...
This is Clara, a friend of Heidi, and it came from Japan.  Thanks to Fi for the proper identification.
Don’t really know much about this one, it’s quite small and comes from the UK.
This is a Fisher Price toy, from the Heroes Rescue range.  This guy is a medic, in a wheelchair!  Though why he needs such a big gun if he is a medic.....?
